lost in my own mind
ohhellno:
I’m There!
Hm.  Original Melrose Place (I’m old enough to remember when 90210 was new) was sort of 90210 but for older kids.  And by kids I mean, those weird 25 year olds that couldn’t be adults but weren’t in High School either, and certainly weren’t in college.
But I look at hat boy over there and I have to wonder, is he in college?  He better be in college with that hat, or an artist.  And you don’t see the quotes around artist because they’re invisible.
Also Asian and ‘brown’ girl are separated on the top row.  Really?  Thank God frat boy and red haired girl are in the middle, alongside the only person in the shot to have slicked hair.  Frat boy needs a haircut btw, that’s one strong wind from a Ben Stiller moment.
Red haired girl and artist boy look slightly wide eyed.  Everyone else is aggressive, except for frat boy, who is clueless.  I’m missing Shue already.
You know I watch Smallville.  I watch Smallville, on the CW, even though Clark Kent is AT the Daily Planet and still isn’t Superman.  I say this because I am no stickler for accuracy when it comes to television, do what you will.  But don’t be so bloody transparant about it.  And when you make a show that was 90210 for adults who were young enough to miss college but old enough to not wear their hats backwards anymore…don’t make the actors look like every other 24 year old trying to look like they’re 19.  Or 17.  Or…whatever age those kids from Dawson’s Creek were.
PS Is that chick on the top right from She’s the Man?  Boy I hope so, cause she plays a really awesome bitch.
